Meet Billie – BCreative
Billie is one of our newer designers here in our shoppe and her style and creativity bring a fun illustrative style to the group. She’s so graciously designed a fun set of stickers you can download free in our vault. But first, let’s get to know her!
When did you discover your passion for creativity?
I’ve always had a passion for being creative – I’ve always loved art and the way it can be used expressively to showcase your own individual personality and feelings – I would say my passion and personal style really ‘bloomed’ when I started creating digital pieces.
How would you describe your art style?
If I had to choose just one word to describe my style it would have to be whimsical.
What music are you listening to while you work?
I listen to all types of music depending on the pieces I’m creating – I love all the oldies especially the Blues.
Who do you admire in the art world?
I love Liz Koehler Brown, I cannot begin to tell you how much she inspires me and has helped me grow my passion for creating and designing digital art. Also, as I’m a HUGE floral and botanicals fan Peggy Dean is just amazing, I love her work! Cath Kidston is an English designer and is well known for her nostalgic floral patterns and I am completely OBSESSED with; she is a huge inspiration to me.
If you’re stranded on an island what 3 things do you want with you?
My iPad, an unlimited supply of cheese, and of course my furbaby, Derek the Frenchie
What’s your favorite kit you’ve created so far at hollypixels.com?
This is tough. I love everything I create, but if I had to pick just one – it would have to be Pumpkin Spice!
