November Challenge | Doodle and Lettering Prompts #hollypixels

This month you can take it a little easy. But not really. I want you to do less but do more by spending MORE time on this months prompts. Be sure to follow me on Instagram!

Every month I host a new lettering challenge and this month we’re bringing in Illustration to the challenge as well! Each month I post new prompts to encourage you to get more consistent with your lettering and drawing. Challenge prompts can help you improve.

How It Works

  • This is a weekly challenge for November.
  • I want you to REALLY push yourself. Do research, sketch thumbnails, create a great idea. THIS IS FOR YOUR PORTFOLIO!
  • Use the prompts to inspire you to think outside of the box. You can letter or even doodle.
  • Then, post your image to Instagram and use the hashtag #hollypixels (this used to be the #letterpixels challenge) and we’ll check it out!

I know you don’t like to use a screen protector for your iPad. I heard from some you-tubers that the apple pencil scratch your screen if you don’t, is that true? Do you share that problem? if not, what is what you do? Thank you!!!!

I’ve never heard of that before! I’ve been using iPad Pros with Apple Pencils for a few years and NEVER scratched them. I’m rough with my machine too. That’s not true. Don’t listen to that!

Awesome! Thank you so much! I was getting a little worried and thinking I had to cover my beautiful screen with a protector.

If that were the case, Apple would sell their own. They make them SUPER tough! I mean don’t go running a razor blade over them, but seriously, it destroys the gorgeous retina of the iPad Pro – I haven’t found ONE yet that doesn’t.
