I get asked what I use all of the time! This is a list of resources for tools I use in my business. Some of these are affiliate links and are indicated with an asterisk.

Lettering Tools

iPad Pro 12.9" Gen 1 256 GB  - I bought one of the first models and it's held up great for about 20 months and I'm just starting to see battery decline. Also, 256 GB is MORE than enough. In fact I would recommend a smaller size if you're not doing video.

Apple Pencil - I have two actually! Backups!

Procreate App

JIA JUN Apple Pencil Cover*

I do not use a screen protector on my iPad Pro. I have had it for well over a year with no scratches. I typically store my iPad Pro and pencil in a sleeve designed and handmade by my mom's shop.

Computer Tools

iMac 5K with 32 GB RAM (2015)

Macbook Pro (2017 without touchbar) 15 inch

Wacom Intuos 4* (I don't use a mouse, only a tablet pen)

Wacom Cintiq 22 HD Touch*

LX Desk Mount LCD Arm* - This is what I use to hold my Wacom Cintiq 22 so I can move it out of the way or bring it down into my lap.

Live Streaming Tools

Macbook Pro (mentioned above) - I use the Macbook Pro with the webcam to run the OBS software and hook up the webcam. This way I can have a split screen on me and shooting down on the iPad Pro while I'm working. I hook it up to the articulating arm mentioned in the Filming Tools section.

Logitech HD Pro Webcam Widescreen *

Open Broadcaster Software - this is the software installed (it's free) to my Macbook Pro to run both my webcam and my Macbook Pro webcam at the same time through a Facebook Group or YouTube.

Limo Studio Continuous Softbox Lighting* - I use two of these to light my desk area when filming my YouTube videos.

Photo Mockups

Creative Market* - I love work by TwigyPosts, Magnolia Minted and Skyla Design

Filming Tools

Canon Powershot G7X* - this is what I use to film all of my YouTube tutorials.

Manfrotto 196B-2 Articulating Arm* - I screw this into the Neewer Video Wall Mount on my wall. I use this rather than a tripod because it doesn't connect to my table and end up shaking if I move the table.

Neewer Video Wall Ceiling Mount* (see above)

Final Cut Pro - I use this to edit my videos for YouTube - sometimes I need to use Camtasia for on-computer screen demos and I will usually export those and put them into Final Cut Pro for editing.

Camtasia - I use this software for on-computer screen recording.

Blue Yeti USB Microphone* - this is an amazing microphone that gives you quality sound.

Traditional Drawing & Lettering Tools

Litup Wireless Portable Light Box A3* - I use this light box for tracing hand lettering sketches. It's sleek and lightweight.

Rhodia Black Dot Pat* - This pad of paper is one of the best. It's smooth and works so well with Tombow pens. I love the dotted grid to help keep letters lined up properly.

Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pens* - These are my go-to brush pens for traditional brush lettering. Super affordable, too!

Business Courses

Be Booked Out by Evolve & Succeed* - If you want to go into a service based business, like lettering for companies this is a great course to help you identify your business best friend and use the RIGHT marketing terminology to attract people and stay booked out.

Computer / Website Software

Adobe Creative Cloud - I specifically use Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to do my design work.

Dashlane - to store my passwords.

WordPress - I host my own website using WordPress.

SiteGround* - I host my domain with SiteGround because they are super affordable and one of the best reputations out there. I've never had any issues. They are actually WordPress hosting experts!

BeaverBuilder* - I use BeaverBuilder as a WordPress plugin to build my site. It's a drag and drop system that makes it visually easy to build a website without knowing how to code.

ThriveLeads - I use ThriveLeads to build my lead capture forms you can find on every blog post (if you signed up for my free brush you used it).

MailerLite* - I do all of my marketing emailing through MailerLite. I have used other systems in the past but MailerLite is super affordable, simple, and customer service responds almost immediately every single time!

HootSuite - I use the free version of HootSuite to scheduled out my Instagram posts to automatically post. I love this feature!
